Widget "World Clock" displays with wrong cities

I like the feature to add world clock for multiple cities and add it to widget. I can then see all the desired cities displayed at the desktop. However, after I add my desired cities, I can only see those cities when I click the widget. The widget, without click it, cannot show my desired cities. It shows four (I guess it is default) cities Cupertino, Tokyo, Sydney and Paris.

How can my widget show the correct add cities without clicking it?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.4

first, "control click" on the clock widget and choose Edit "Clock".

then the widget will "flip over". you can then click each of the displayed cities and change them to your desired cities.
