Issue with IPAD PRO 12.9 inch. My screen has started blacking out for no reason and leaves an illuminated strip.

All of a sudden screen will get lines and fades out, it will become dark. If i try to lock and unlock the ipad then it will get back to normal.

As described, your iPad has a hardware display fault that will likely require repair.


You would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad - and you will be in the best possible place to explore your available options:
