App Store Bug?

When I click on the app, it says that it needs to be updated, but it jumps to the apps store, but it says "The developer has removed this app from the App Store." Why is this happening?

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 17

The version of that app on your phone will not run on the current version of iOS installed on your iPhone.

The developer has removed their app from the App Store but users here have no idea why. Perhaps the developer is preparing an updated version or they have abandoned this app.
