how long does battery last filming in 4k 60fps

I have Iphone 15 pro max. I want to film long video 3-4 hours straight. I am wondering if I need to bring a battery pack or not. How long will the phone last filming in 4k 60 fps before battery runs out?

Here's what I found online that might be helpful (I haven't tried filming for that long myself):

  • Based on tests comparing the iPhone 14 Pro Max to other phones, filming continuously for 3-4 hours straight might be a stretch. When filming 4K at 60fps in ideal conditions, tests showed the iPhone 14 Pro Max lasting around 2-2.5 hours. (YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9s254vDvm4).
  • Factors affecting battery life: Screen brightness, recording format (like ProRes which uses more power), and environmental temperature (heat shortens battery life) can significantly reduce recording time.
