Keep getting messages to update my MacOS on my MBP even though system is up to date!

Currently running MacOS Ventura 13.6.6 on a 2017 MBPro w/8 gb ram. Every day since I updated to macOS 13.6.x I get a message that I need to do an operating system update even though the system is current. What's up with that and how can I stop this?

MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.11

Pickup up on " operating system update " would imply there could be a Safari update that came out March 25, 2024.

About the security content of Safari 17.4.1

If what is appearing is a System upGrade , that is different.

Should it be suggesting an upGrade to Sonoma - do not attempt to upGrade.

Yes, the computer does not Qualify

macOS Sonoma is compatible with these computers

There have been some reports of the Apple Servers Mis-identiifing some computers that do not Qualify for Sonoma.

If this is the case with this computer ?
