How can I sync and back up my iphone15 to old imac computer?
There isn't a slot on my imac computer for the charging cable for iphone 15. What do I need?

Perhaps a modern USB-C cable adapted from iPhone
15, could then use a port in the older Mac computer..
How old is the 'build model year' Mac do you have?
Every so often the tech is near totally upgraded in Mac
and its macOS; same with an iPhone and its OS. That
is why a few year old cable won't necessarily work in
newest tech.. And the update/upgrade cycle, seems
to never quite bridge the gap.. Unless you chase it.
So you need to Identify both the Computer and iPhone
specs, and then seek latest USB to see if there is one
to match the old Mac hardware a& software. Maybe so?
If you've only been hoping to backup an iPhone to just
an iCloud, that is not a good idea; offline is better for
backup and restoring data, since that's a local thing.
There also are different charging and power cables..
Power Delivery has higher specs than mere charging.
