Numbers columns hidden - nothing to unhide

A Numbers file is suddenly not showing Columns A to H. Half of H is showing if I try to drag it into view. There is nothing to 'Unhide'. How can these columns be made visible again?

File shows same problem when opened on iPad.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.13

Hi oczr,

Perhaps you accidentally dragged the table off the "page" and into the margins.

In Numbers for Mac, click anywhere on the table to make it active. You should then see the "bullseye" (concentric circles, top left). Drag the bullseye to the right and/or down to pull the table back onto the page.

I find these settings useful:

Menu > Numbers > Settings > Rulers > Alignment Guides.

The Alignment Guides appear when you drag an object (such as a table) and politely disappear when you let go of the mouse/trackpad. The guides do not print.

Regards,

Ian.
