Connect to a new WiFi network without TV Remote

Please help me solve the puzzle) I took the AppleTV 4k with me on a trip, but forgot the tv remote control. How to connect appletv to a new wi-fi network without a remote control? Control from iPhone/ipad does not work until you connect to the same wifi network. Commands from the TV remote control are also not sent to appletv via hdmi. There is also no way to connect to the network via ethernet. Is there some way to solve the problem?

The use of the physical remote (or wireless keyboard) is the only way to set the network settings for Wi-Fi.

You might be able to use someone else’s Apple TV remote temporarily [1], to help set this up, then continue with the software remote on iPhone.

You could also try a long Ethernet cable directly into the device - it would not require a password and the Apple TV may automatically switch to the wired connection.
