Olive oil spilled on MacBook Pro keyboard

I spilled olive oil on my MacBook Pro. No major damage happened, but the keys are now very sticky. Is it possible to get the oil out?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.6

Basically, difficult to impossible.

You could use a damp cloth (damp, not wet) to try to clean the keytops. Maybe use some dry q-tips or swabs to pick up any oil that may be on the sides or between the keys. But if the olive oil ran underneath the keys and they keys themselves don't work, the only thing possible would be a keyboard replacement.

Or, use an external USB or bluetooth keyboard!
