Cox.net sent my e-mail account to Yahoo. After checking out their security and information sharing I have made the decision to close that account. Does apple offer this service and if not what company would you suggest I use. I have an iMac Sonoma computer. Thank you for responding.

Apple has an email service through iCloud: Set up iCloud Mail on all your devices - Apple Support. You'd get an email address of the form @icloud.com.
I would not recommend you close your previous email account for the time being. Someone might still contact you through it. Communicate your @icloud.com to everyone that might need it.
