Cox email has been changed to Yahoo mail, but I am trying to help a friend get it on her iPad, but it will not work. We installed the Yahoo mail app, but no cox email showed. However, when we signed into Yahoo mail on MY mini Mac, the Cox email was all there. Can anyone help please?

When setting up the account are you choosing the Yahoo or Other option? You may need to select Yahoo then enter your Cox email address & password. If Cox use 2fa/mfa then you may need an app specific password.

Is there any specific error message?
Is there any virtual private network or adblocker on the device which may be interfering with the app connecting to the server?
When entering the account details are you using just the part before the @ or the whole email address?

I think we tried it both ways. (Yahoo and Other) . I don't recall if we needed 2fa/mfa, but I know we tried with the generate temporary password on Yahoo. Why is it so easy on an android phone but not on Apple devices? I had no trouble whatsoever on my android phone and nor have others I have spoken with. But it took me 2 1/2 days to figure out how to get it on my mac and my ipad. We did install the Yahoo app on her ipad, but that didn't work. And we tried going directly to the Yahoo website. Why would it show up when we logged into to Yahoo on my computer?
Thanks for trying to help me. My friend has found someone else to do the transfer. But, no there was no error message. It just would not recognize or find the cox email address. Her problem is solved I think, but thank you so much for trying to give assistance. (Now, she just has to figure out how to delete her something like 20,000 messages in her inbox, deleted/ trash. SMH) ---or maybe THAT was why she was having trouble in the first place!! Thanks again!!
You’re welcome. Glad to hear the problem has been fixed.
There may be an option to select all which would help with deleting that many emails.
