Fonts in my font book are locked I have Sonoma 14.4.1 on a M2 Max Studio Mac and M3 Max MBP does anybody have any suggestions?

Pages I have several fonts in font book that are activated and I have validated my entire font book. However, there are several fonts that font book shows are activated that do not show up in Page or other text based apps. Could someone explain why and help fix this? Disable fonts after upgrade I am writing to check that some system fonts cannot be disabled after upgrading the Mac OS to 13.0.1. For example, some fonts like Galvji, Euphemia, Kefa, Kailasa, All Sangam MN fonts etc. we could disable in Mac OS before but after upgrading, it cannot do it. I am asking whether I can disable those fonts right now.

Deleting system fonts. Font Book did not automatically display System Fonts. The user guide did not include that they have to be active in instructions. Tried a sundry of methods to delete them, target disk mode, reinstalling Sonoma, and then some... To remove system fonts: Open Font Book / Settings / Sidebar / Activate “System Fonts” by checking box if not Highlight System Fonts in sidebar Return to Settings / Advanced / Reset Fonts MacBook Pro M1, 16” 2021 / Sonoma 14.0
