Why is my name on all of my boyfriend's devices?

I’m not even sure how to describe this issue! My partner and I both have iPhones and MacBooks. When he goes to airdrop something to himself, his computer and iPad and iPhone are all listed as my name instead of what they are called.

It drives him insane! When I try to I airdrop something to him, his devices are listed as his name.

It’s seems that everything he owns has defaulted to being my name instead of his??

Thinking you both have your own Apple IDs and wondering if Family Sharing happens to be in use? Also wondering if your Apple device list happens to have any or all of his devices on it? If you look up both of your names on each of your Contact lists are all entries correct? In each of your Messages are the Send & Receive phone numbers and email addresses correct? Have you checked each of your iCloud’s?

Are you on the same Apple ID for a chance? Sharing Apple ID's is not supported, as Apple ID's are strictly personal
