I have a Numbers workbook with over 40 worksheets. I want to move 20 of those worksheets into a new workbook. I tried "file > move to" but that moved the entire workbook. How to I move just the 20 spreadsheets into a new workbook? I'm running Big Sur 11.7.10; Numbers 12.1.

The ideal solution would be to select the 20 worksheets you need and then cut them to a new workbook. However, Numbers doesn't support selecting multiple worksheets simultaneously. Therefore, some simpler methods might be as follows.
1. Make a copy of the original file and then directly delete the worksheets you do not need to keep until only the 20 worksheets you need remain.
2. Create a blank workbook, then cut and paste the 20 worksheets you need one by one.

Thank you. I was hoping to avoid all those steps, but it looks like I won't be able to. The two options you suggest sound reasonable and workable. Copying the first 20 will be time consuming, but hereafter if I need to "move" a spreadsheet, it will be one at a time, and only once in a while.
