I'm unable to turn on Stage Manager on my Mac Studio 2023 running Sonoma. There is no Stage Manager button in Control Center and the option to turn it on is disabled in System Settings. What's up with that?

Nope. The place where you turn Stage Manager on/off in System Settings is disabled (i.e. I can't turn it on). My Mac is new enough and my macOS is new enough according to documentation.
As soon as I posted my response I actually read the small print: "Stage Manager requires 'Displays have separate Spaces' to be enabled. Amazing what reading can do!
