Apple Pay shipping charges

At Retailer website check out using the Apple Pay method. Why am I being double charged for shipping w the retail AND again from Apple Pay. Total for merchandise differ by an additional 8.95 upon payment with Apple Pay. If I wanted the retailer to have my personal information I wouldn’t use Apple Pay!! Build an option where frequent user aren’t penalized charge for prioritizing security. My order grand total was 36.93 after S/h and Tax. At payment for Apple Pay is was 45.88.
