I am not able to transfer a large number of photos from my iPhone to my Mac Studio without hanging. I have an iPhone 14 pro running iOS 18.6 and am trying to transfer a couple hundred photos to my Mac Studio running Sequoia 15.6. I have been working on using AirDrop to accomplish this for a while now and am making very slow progress. Everything seems to work OK at first. After I get a number of photos copied something always hangs. Sometimes I get a "waiting" and then a failure. Sometimes, the Studio stops appearing in the list of AirDrop devices. It seems I need to reboot the systems to get it to work again. Any hints as to how I can get this to work long enough to transfer the photos?

Stuck where? How?

What is happening exactly?

You just need to click on the share icon, then on AirDrop and then on your iPhone to start the AirDrop sequence.

Then it should just appear in the iPhone's Photos app.
