How do I access past events on my Calendar?

When I tried a search on my calendar for events that have passed, nothing comes up. How do I adjust so I can see old appts, etc?

The iPhone limits the calendar search to events no older than one year. There is no way around this limitation.

If your events are more recent and your are using iCloud calendars, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud, turn off iCloud Calendar, restart the iPhone and turn iCloud Calendar back on. This should force the calendars to be reindexed. Wait some time (it’s hard to know how long for the indexation to complete, it could be minutes ou an hour) before trying another search.
