I have several calenders in calendar app ie orange for mum. is there a way i can check all the event entered for this calendar only ?

You could unselect/uncheck all the other calendars and display the events as a list (Change how you view events in Calendar on iPhone - Apple Support). The list would then only contain the events of the checked calendar.
