New MacBook Air Bluetooth issues

I just bought a new MacBook Air and it won't pair with my iPhone 13 max pro. When I go into Bluetooth on my MacBook Air my iPhone 13 max Pro is not being found. However on my iPhone my MacBook Air is found but it won't pair. Any help would be appreciated.

You cannot pair a Mac and an iPhone using Bluetooth. It is actually unnecessary as the 2 devices can communicate between themselves automatically. AirDrop, for instance, is a functionality using Bluetooth that does not require devices to be paired.
