Just upgraded to Sonoma on MacBook Air, and a voice can be heard now everywhere the cursor goes!!!! HELP
I don't want this voice on. I have tried turning it off with Command F5 or Command TouchID 3 times - No Success!
How does this problem come along with an upgrade!!!!
Please advise!

Go to System Settings > Accessibility and disable VoiceOver.
Everyone: I found the problem - actually, it the Speech was activitaded upon upgrading to Sonoma. To turn it off I went to System Preferences and clicked on the "Speech" pane to access the controls.

However, it is not a VO issue because the VO is disabled!
It appears to be a fault after installing Sonoma on my MacBook.
The voice appears to be Siri's.
Anybody out there who has wanted to turn the curser voice off and could not?
Any help would be appreciated
