Find My: Can I associate devices with people? Can see family devices, but new phones aren't linked to people.

I am the family organizer.

All 3 family members other than me just got new iPhones.

When I go into Find My, my spouse's and one child's last location is from where their old phones were last seen. I can see their new phones in the devices list.

With the other child, their new phone is linked to their "person" in Find My and I don't have to go to devices to see them.

All of them can see me correctly. And they can all see each other correctly.

Is there a way to link the new device to the "person" list I have set up in Find My? The list of devices is long and it is easier to use the people tab.

Windows, Windows 10

Yes, but it is done by the user of the phone. The user needs to open Find My, tap ME, then Use this iPhone as my location

Once that has been done when you tap People and their name you will see live tracking as they move.
