Limiting adult content with screentime

I used the parent restrictions for my 12 year old found under screen time. Under website content restrictions, I toggled to “ limit adult content.” It has been saved as such for a long time.

i was looking through that sixth graders web browser history and pornhub, with urls with explicit words in the url, was there under the history. On a repeated basis.

So If elementary students can browse pornhub what does “ limit adult websites” actually restrict?

Please use Screen Time Restrictions

Check the DOB against the Apple ID being used by your child. For example: Generally, an adult man likely wouldn't need such restrictions. These limitations are typically set up for parental control on a child's device. Update the date of birth associated with your Apple ID

Settings > Screen Time > Content and Privacy Restrictions > Content Restrictions > Web Content > Limit Adult Website [Tick]; Not foolproof: It's important to understand that this filtering is not perfect. Some inappropriate content might still slip through the cracks.

Allowed Websites Only: Grants access only to specifically allowed websites you manually add to the list. This is the most restrictive option.
