ATT(YAHOO) Email on iPad or Mac Logging in Issue

I am trying to connect ATT email on either my iPad or Mac and I go through the login/ pw screen prompt and two step verification. I can see the login going through on URL, then it switches to logging out and takes me back to the login screen. I changed password, cleared browsing history, tried safari and chrome browses and nothing is working.

Apple Mail 11.5 stopped getting mail from ATT.NET/Yahoo During the prior week, got two emails from AT&T saying email would stop on June 12 unless I verified my email address. Did that and got a verified status back. On June 12, email did stop on my Mac with Mail 11.5. IPhone with iOS 17.5.1 also stopped getting email. I have a legacy att.net email address so no help from AT&T. I found an earlier Community response that advised deleting the email account and adding it back by selecting Yahoo. This worked and I now get ATT.NET/Yahoo email but Connection Doctor on the Mac shows that mail logs out after each get mail and the green status never lights.

Changed Gmail password on iphone now Macbook(High Sierra) Mail will not connect to server, receiving this message; "Failed to verify the server certificate. This could be because of your network configuration or your proxy settings." Hello- Happy Holidays to all. I had to change my Google/Gmail password on my iphone and now the Mail app on my Macbook will not connect to server and enable me to update the new password, nor will it connect to allow me to re-add the email account. I keep getting this notice but unable to move passed it or the prompts that pop up. I have tried to follow and do what others have listed on here to fix the issue in the Network preferences....but none have worked. HELP, please. Running 2015 17" MacBook with OS High Sierra..

Mail on Mac suddenly started asking for password and then will not accept it It is the correct password because I can access the email acct on safari as well as my iPhone. It is a hotmail email. And this site will not allow me to change devices. I am having trouble on my 2014 Mac mini; works fine on Safari (same Mac) and fine on my iPhone XR.
