My keyboard types in the wrong letters iMac
I installed Sonoma and since then my keyboard has not worked properly

Often this is caused by having the wrong input source active. Go to system settings > keyboard > text input > edit > input sources, and make sure there is only one item on the list. For English that item should be US, ABC, or British. Use the minus button at the bottom of the list to remove anything else.
