How to check if a person has blocked me on Messages

Texting my ex.

He will send texts to me and I’m unsure if my texts are going to him.

The message will not display “Delivered”, even after he sends a response.

It does not appear that he is replying to what I’ve written.

What is he doing because I am annoyed

Thank you 😊

The messages are blue! they don’t change to green. They simply don’t change to Delivered, even after he replies. It’s weird

You won't be able to tell if you are blocked. Even if the bubble changes to green, it could simply mean they have turned iMessage off or there is a server issue preventing the message from being transmitted over the internet.

As for a Message not showing Delivered, this could also be caused by a server error or the recipient may have Do Not Disturb turned on.

You cannot make any assumptions from your device on what another user has done or not done. There is a similar case where a user did have a "Delivered" response on their phone and was mad at the recipient for not responding assuming they had received the message. The problem was that the recipient was in a location where they had no service, but also had a Mac computer at home that did receive the message.
