My mac keeps on freezing and heats up.

Are you perhaps running Google Chrome from a Disk Image instead of the Applications folder?

This looks to be the case and would be the result of the heavy fans and also slow your machine down. Google Chrome would need to be installed in the Applications folder and the Google Disk Image should be removed.

First, uninstall any:

• Cleaners
• Optimizers
• Anti-Virus

Then post the free EtreCheck report using the Additional Text option when posting. This will show the processes that are running on your computer causing it to heat up.

Use Activity Monitor to check which App or process uses resource excessively.
