I locked my iphon14 by passcode and finally used itunes to update the software to reset it and after it finished it says my phone has to wait 8 hours and i cant even turn it off now???

you restore to factory settings If you see a iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro unavailable message or Security Lockout screen - Apple Support
