Is it normal for my new iPad Pro to drain 5% charge with normal use?

I have had the new iPad 13in for a week, my battery drained from 100% to 7% and I didn’t touch it all day. This is a problem.

hi, I did not backed up mine as I want to start fresh with my new 11 inch m4. Still drains battery significantly faster than my previous ipad’s. Took it to Apple Store and I was told it is normal.

Did you get your M4 iPad at the apple store or from the website and get it delivered you?

Got mine in store I don’t like waiting for things.

Tbh it’ll be my first ever iPad so I’m thinking hard if it’s worth spending the money for it😂

Also seeing the same issue on my brand new M4 iPad Pro 11". I was using Goodnotes for 1h57m and lost 63% of battery

You fully charged it before turning it on? I thought when you plug the cable in the device will automatically boot up?

Mine was the same. Took it to Apple genius/ bar twice and was told it is normal. Apple failed on this one.. Thinner is not always better if battery has to suffer. Hoping for a fix…
