Apple care+
Now that I already have Apple's 1-year limited warranty since I bought the MacBook on May 3-5, 2024, is it worth it for me to get Apple Care Plus?

Is it worth it? That's really for you to evaluate.
Considering the investment you have made for your Mac - and congratulations on the purchase - the cost of Apple Care+ looks small in comparison, and the coverage offers protection for your computer for the next three years, and beyond if you wish to extend it.
Laptops are especially vulnerable to encountering dangers when you are mobile and as I insist that my family members buy Apple Care+ I would also have to pass on that recommendation to you. I have an iMac, somewhat less portable and less prone to knocks, but I have bought Apple Care+ for it as well.
You have sixty days after purchase to buy Apple Care+ so if you wish to get it don't delay too long.
