Apple Card payments from Bill Pay
I cancelled my Apple Card last year because suddenly the only way to pay the Apple Card was to enter my bank information into Goldman Sachs and pull payments from my bank. I don't pay this way. It's the wrong direction. I had been happily sending BillPays for over a year before this change.
Interestingly after I cancelled it was like pulling teeth to get a payoff address to send the final bill, try to get it some time when you have an hour.
Like many others I'm sure I always always always initiate payments FROM my bank TO the payee via my bank's BillPay function. Been doing this for at least 10 years and for all of my many payees. It organizes into one location all cash flows and makes scheduling and accounting a breeze. When there is no conduit (like my rent check) my bank just cuts a paper check and sends it.
WITHOUT sending me to an Apple support link that does not answer the question any Apple gurus have insight behind this business logic? It sure isn't technical.
