Apple TV in Chrome not working

For the past couple of months I was able to watch Apple TV through Chrome web browser. Now I am unable to access my account or watch anything--I click around the landing page and nothing changes. My avatar used to appear in the upper right corner, but now it is gone and when I click on the account icon to try to log in, nothing changes. Coincidentally, this happens a day after I was charged for my first month of paid service after my free 3-month trial. I can still see my account and shows when I open the Apple TV app on my iPhone, so my account is there--but why can I no longer watch on a Chrome web browser?

I had the exact same issue and deleting the third party cookies for Apple.com fixed it for me. Try this:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More Settings .
  3. Click Privacy and security.
  4. Click Third-party cookies.
  5. Click See all site data and permissions > (It's near the bottom of the page)
  6. At the top right, search for Apple.
  7. To the right of Apple.com, click the Delete icon.
  8. To confirm, click Delete.
  9. Reload the Apple TV site and sign in.

no luck

all links on https://tv.apple.com/ give the indication that there is link, but CLICK and nothing. Right click to use 'open link in another tab'... , but the option does not exist. This does not sync with results from other browsers.

Works fine in Edge, however no links will open in Chrome. This is weird because Edge would not exist without Chrome.

Same extensions in both, just in case that is the direction this was going.
