Why my 256gb iPhone takes a few days to backup to iCloud? Not just 1 time. It’s all the time. It’s using data when I’m traveling from home to office and office to home and when I’m outside. It’s kinda ridiculous.
There is only one factor that affects backup duration: Connection speed. You should enable automatic overnight backup and leave your phone plugged in overnight to charge and enable the automatic backup. My 512 GB iPhone takes about 3 minutes for its nightly backups over a 1 GB fiber connection.
