My appletv sometimes doesnt have sound

This is a newer issue, and it’s increasing in frequency.

I have an AppleTV (no 4K), latest update. It’s connected to a TCL Roku TV.

sometimes I turn on my tv and my Appletv starts up, and has no sound. The original TV has sound. The only way to fix the sound issue is to unplug and replug the Apple TV (the restart function doesn’t fix it).

anything I can do to fix this issue?
