Ethernet on Apple TV 4k doesn't work anymore.

The ethernet stopped working on my Apple TV A2169, and I think I tried everything. Restarting, disconnecting the power for a few minutes, using different ethernet cables, trying known working ports on the router, restarting the router, updating to the newest tvos (17.5).

I also noticed, that I can not manually select, if ethernet or wlan is used, so I tried disconnecting wlan, but it still didn't work. Is there anything else to do?

I need an ethernet connection, because I noticed the drop in quality, resolution and stutters, since it's running on wlan.

It seems that you already did some effective troubleshooting steps. Next, please consult with Apple if they can diagnose/test the unit (at a local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider [2]), or if they have other advise/next steps for you.

If anything is plugged into the ethernet port, then Wi-Fi gets disabled for the Apple TV box, to assume ethernet will be used instead. If nothing is plugged into the ethernet port, then the Apple TV box should attempt to use Wi-Fi instead.

If your device has ethernet connectivity, then you should be able to use that. But Wi-Fi shouldn’t be a problem, if it is set up adequately. Wi-Fi itself is no cause for drop in quality, resolution, or stutters.
