I cannot see the Apple ID sign in on my Macbook Air. I am running Sonoma 14.5. I know it should be in system settings, over "Wi-Fi" but it is not there. I tried starting in safe mode, no change. Very frustrating.

Try Apple menu > System Settings, then click [your name] at the top of the sidebar.
