My son's Apple Pay transactions are reflecting on my bank account

Ok this is something I don't understand. I sent my son money through apple pay. He used his bapple pay to pay for fast food. But it showed up on my bank account in my transactions. How? I thought my card had been hacked so I cancelled it. What's going on?
