Why would I want Siri to reply to anyone's voice?

Why did Apple remove the "Hey Siri" training and allow Siri to reply to anyone's voice? There used to be a setting where you could train Siri to only reply to your voice. This was removed in recent updates. Doesn't this open the phone up to security threats. Couldn't anyone use your iPhone without your authorization. It is also annoying when someone else is talking to their iPhone and your phone starts listening.

Sir has ALWAYS responded to anyone who wakes her. Siri has NEVER had the option to only respond to one voice. The training you speak of was NEVER intended to ensure Siri only responded to your voice. It was intended to make sure Siri understood your speaking style and nothing more. As to why this may or may not still be an option (I personally needed to train Siri to better understand me), we can't answer Why questions here. This is a user to user only forum, which no one from Apple participates.

If you think Apple should make Siri only respond to one voice, feel free to let Apple know here --> Feedback - iPhone - Apple
