Anyone with an M4 IPad have it happen?

I have been using my new iPad M4 with the new Apple Pencil, enjoying Freeform and creating a board that I really liked and put a lot of time and effort into. I locked my iPad and came back to it a few hours later only to find that none of the boards that I had created were there. The day before all the projects were there, everything looked fine. The next day, just like that everything is gone. I had ran out of space on iCloud so that made me think that maybe it was because I ran out of space so I freed up space on my iCloud and continued to work on more projects only to find today that two other times another project that was working on experienced the same issue where it lost all of the work that I did. That’s what happened to my lost projects, it wouldn’t save parts of the project I had worked on, then the whole file disappeared. Now, I have space on iCloud, so why didn’t it save it to iCloud?

Also, this is a brand new iPad so there’s a lot of space on the iPad running the latest firmware, so I’m wondering why the project seems to be only stored in RAM and not transferred into the physical storage. There’s no way to confirm that the project was saved. It’s driving me crazy. I lose ideas I have been working on. What’s the point if it’s not going to save? Anyone have a solution?

(Just to be clear , The device I have is an iPad M4 pro, idk how to edit that on the device tag thing)
