Wemo Video Doorbell "camera is not responding" error in Apple Home

I have a very high regard for both Apple and Belkin. However, the Belkin Wemo Video Doorbell WDC010 and the Home App have proven to be a highly unstable. I've been working with Belkin Support since I've installed it April, 2023. It would function properly for a few weeks and then Home would report "camera is not responding" which could be fixed by doing a doorbell restart. At first I thought the problem was the doorbell but I've now discovered that the Home App itself has issues. When I receive the "camera is not responding" message on my iPhone, sometimes the doorbell still works on my MacBook Pro. Restarting the iPhone sometimes fixes the problem. However, very often, the only way to fix the problem is to detach the doorbell and do a factory restore and reinstall the doorbell. I paid an electrician $120 to upgrade my doorbell transformer but that didn't fix the problem. I'm heavily invested in Apple. I have an Apple TV with Ethernet, 2 HomePods and 4 Homepod minis as well as an iPhone and a MacBook Pro. It's not unusual for new products to have bugs but when are the engineers from Belkin and Apple going to solve these problems? Recently Consumer Reports rated the Logitech Video Doorbell very highly but when you read the user reviews, they also have stability problems.
