Siri Remote disconnects when Apple TV is on Sleep mode

I turn off my Apple TV at night (I keep it connected to the electrical outlet, so it’s on Sleep mode). In the morning, the Siri remote doesn't turn on the Apple TV. I press the Menu or the TV button and there is no response.

What I do is turn the Apple TV on with my iPhone / iPad. I go to Settings and it shows the Siri Remote is not connected. So, I press the TV button and the lower volume button on the Siri Remote to reconnect and it works flawlessly, until I turn off the Apple TV again for long periods of time. If turn it back on within an hour or so, the remote is still connected.

It’s started a few days ago. I’ve had this Apple TV for seven years now and this is the first problem I’ve had. My daughter keeps her Nintendo Switch less than 1m away on the same TV stand, but it can’t be that as this issue had never occurred. As I stated, it started about five days ago.

I updated my Apple TV last night to tvOS 17.5.1 and the problem still persists.
