iMovie won't import my AAF logic file, but it is visible in GRAY in the import list.

I'm attempting to bring in an AAF Formatted Voice Over, and it shows up in the list of files, however it is GRAY and will not import. What do I need to fix for this to work please (new at video editing). (Using 2019 intel mac Book Pro).

Can't export file from iMovie.app on Mac I thought a Mac Studio with the Ultra chip would make short work of a 5min video presentation but, alas, no. After updating iMovie it no longer crashes on export, it just gives export errors ranging from CompressorKit errors to write errors. Unable to transfer iMovie project stuck on "Export File" After using iMovie to edit two 30-second mp4 clips, a JPEG, three transitions and a detached audio track into a 53-second video, selecting "Export File" does nothing. AVCHD Clips Not Importing - Ideas? Hi Community, When I try to import AVCHD files into Final Cut Pro 10 or 11, the video appears/scrubs in the import window, the audio track does not/is missing, and when I initiate the import I get an "import failed" message (and nothing is transferred over) – screenshot below. This happens regardless of whether I import directly from the SD card, or from a copy of the card on my HD. Things I've tried: Initializing the SD cards and reshooting Shooting in different resolution and FPS settings on my camera (Canon Vixia HF S200) Checking and deleting any potentially conflicting extensions (e.g. Perian), and apps on my mac Importing while booted in Safe mode I see a number of related posts on this forum and others. Thoughts on how to fix this?

I got this working. For any other beginners out there... My system made a new folder "AUDIO FILES" with an importable file inside. It was named TRACKname + extension .wav which I was able to import without an issue. Lesson learned. :)
