We cannot change my childs apple ID. It was blocked yesterday as he tried to input his password a few times and it was incorrect and also did not realise I had to change it as he is on family sharing. We were given a message we need to wait 24 hours. Please can you assist in how I can change it to work . I have received no email yet
Sounds like u started account recovery for his account. The first 24 hour it is just to confirm that his account is in account recovery. It u have access to his email and received the email that u r in account recovery than u can cancel it. Otherwise there is going to be time wait before u can reset the password. The maximum time wait is 2 weeks. To check if he is actually in account recovery go to Iforgot.apple.com and put his information, if it says account recovery in progress means u r in account recovery and u need to wait 24 hour to see your actual time wait
