Iphone 15 Plus sim not detecting after ios 17.5 update

I have a terrible experience with both the iPhone 15 plus and there customer support. I have purchased a 15 plus 4 months before expecting the durability and reliability of Apple products. I got to know that my decision was wrong after 4 months when I updated the ios to 17.5. Suddenly both my esim and physical sim were not getting detected. I contacted support and they told that its a hardware failure. I really dont know how a software update causes hardware failure. Then I have given it to the service center and contacted Apple support for a complete product replacement as it is a new device and I do not want a repaired piece. Initial agent informed me that they will request with the store for a replacement and promised me a call back after 2 days. After 2 days again I contacted them since I have not received any update and the case ownership changed to another agent. Again I explained everything from scratches and the new agent promised that he will also try and get back to me after contacting the store. When I checked online with repair ID, it was showing the device is repaired and dispatched to my location. Since there is no update from the agent, again I called them and again the case ownership changed. I have again informed all the issues from scratches and the new agent also informed all the usual customer care apologies. Atlast he informed me that while checking online, he can see that mid/rear system is replaced and the issue is resolved. He informed me that since it is repairable, they cant give a replacement. After 2 weeks, they are informing this. All those previous agents were giving fake promises. I switched from Android to Apple only hearing the durability and after sale support. Now I lost my time, I had to buy a phone to manage 2 weeks, I lost my esim, and atlast I am getting a repaired piece. The company assembled piece and a repaired one will be having the same perfection ? I just want to know if there is any way I can get my device replaced ? Still I have not received the repaired product back as it is still in transit.

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution! Please look in the right direction.

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.

Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.
