How do I remove DuckDuckGo from Safari completely?

No matter what I do, when I try to open Safari on my iPhone (up to date), I get a DuckDuckGo screen. I removed DuckDuckGo from my search list. No good. Still pops to DuckDuckGo. Help, please.
