One AirPod that happens to be squeaking will not play. Do you have a solution?

I recently clean these as I took them over from my daughter, I was careful to make sure they are dry.

One airpod is quiet and makes a tiny squeak every few seconds. When I charged my AirPod Pros and took them out of the case to use them, the right AirPod was really quiet and makes a little squeak every few seconds. I played with noise cancelling and nothing changed. I also reset and unpaired the AirPods, and nothing changed either. Before this, my AirPods were working fine.

Have you tried resetting them?
