Convert many live photos back to normal
Have a file of over 900 live photos and want to change them back to Not live. How to do this to a large bulk at a time?
(I know how to turn it off and to edit them one by one but 900 is way too many)
iPhone 12

It's relatively easy:
1 - export all live photos to be converted to a folder on the Desktop.
2 - there will be a .mov and .jpg file for each live photo.
3 - separate the .mov files and delete them.
4 - import the remaining .jpg files back into the library.
5 - after confirming all of the photos are present and converted you can delete the Live photos from the library.
Thanks for this explanation.
I forgot to mention I only have my iPhone at present to convert.
Haven’t replaced laptop yet, I may hv to wait til I do?
it’s not possible to convert large amts on iPhone? All I see so far is to edit one by one. Too many for tht.
thks again
