"Your Graphics Processor is incompatible"

I am working on an iMac 2020, 27", 3.8 GHz 8 Core Intel Core i7, Sonama 14.5, AMD Radeon Pro 5500 XT 8GB, 64 GB memory. All of my data is located on eternal hard drives. I also have an external scratch disk attached.

I have recently updated the operating system and Photoshop from 2023 to 2024. On my first launch of PS2024 I got a pop up indicating that my processor is incompatible. Then, with Lightroom and PS2024 open, my computer crashed!

Whats happening here?! Can this be true?!

Well, I wasn't getting much in the way of resolution on Adobe. My computer was moving slow as molasses and I had 2 crashes. No good. So, I uninstalled PS2024 along with the settings. I shut down the computer and unplugged from the outlet. I restarted the computer, reinstalled PS2023 and reconfigured my settings. Then I restarted the computer again....aaaaaaah, there we go!

My iMac Universe is operating as it should! Back to work!

(Crazy the work time set back these bumps cause!)

Thank you to all of you who tried to help me despite the problem being of Adobe in origin :)
