Can you force 120hz pro motion on ipad pro m4?

Hi,

Got the pro mainly for oled display and 120hz … However the latter is decided by the machine. I would like to adjust the refresh rate just like you can on a tv set. How hard can that be? I can clearly see the image stutter in movies and I prefer watching them at higher frame rates.

Movies are often natively filmed at 24fps - while content made for TV may be at 25, 30, 50 or 60fps.

Some TVs can create interpolated additional frames to smooth action, displaying at higher frame rates, but this often introduces the "soapbox" effect hated by many. To my knowledge, while the iPad Pro supports up 120fps frame rates, Apple's native Apps for iPad do not support creation of interpolated frames.

If you have a suitable third-party streaming or media player App that supports generation of additional frames, you might achieve your aim.
