Iphone 11 Siri not working properly

I have an iPhone 11 that is stuck on iOS 16.0 (20A362) due to lack of storage space (64 GB). And i’m not sure when it happened but it was almost a year ago when my Siri stopped following commands. Using the side button & “Hey Siri” to summon Siri both work fine. But when it comes to executing commands like “Hey Siri, call Eugene” or “Hey Siri, play 435 by Tyler The Creator on Spotify” she just buffers and gives me loading prompts like “Working on that… One moment please…” then finally stops and tells me “Something went wrong. Please try again in a moment” (It doesn’t work in a moment). I don’t know if this is because my iOS is behind or if there’s a general problem with Siri. But i’ve read multiple forum questions/threads with the same problem with varying iPhone models, with some who ARE on iOS 17 and above that have no solution listed under them. I would like to be able to use Siri again as she’s very helpful in my day to day life. Please help.
